Australia's record-breaking try scorer Israel Folau may be missing from Michael Cheika’s armoury, but Danny Care insists the Wallabies will still pose a serious threat at Twickenham on Saturday.

Full-back Folau is taking a break from rugby, having set an Australia record for tries in a calendar year, with 12 in 10 Tests.

In the absence of Folau, who has scored 32 tries in 62 Tests overall, Wallabies head coach Cheika has moved former Wasps star Kurtley Beale to 15.

Harlequins scrum-half Care was a replacement in England’s stuttering win over Argentina on Saturday and is battling with Ben Youngs to start against Australia.

He said: “Folau is, without doubt, one of the best players in the world. He does things the rest of us can only dream about and makes the game look very easy.

“They have replaced him well with Kurtley Beale, who is on fire. Everything Australia are doing well, he has a hand in it.

“They have got threats all over the pitch, including Karmichael Hunt, and we are going to have to defend well to nullify them.

“Any team is going to miss a world-class player like Folau, but Australia have three or four who can step into his shoes.”
