Billy Vunipola has agreed a summer move to Montpellier.

The England No8 will end his Saracens stint after 11 years at the club, with brother Mako Vunipola also eyeing a move abroad.

Back-rower Vunipola had received strong interest from Japan as well as several French clubs, but has opted to make the move across The Channel.

Saracens are eyeing a move for Crusaders fly-half Fergus Burke, to bolster their playmaking stocks amid Owen Farrell’s summer move to Racing 92.

Newcastle’s former England Under-20s fly-half Louie Johnson is also expected to join Saracens this summer.

Saracens boss Mark McCall has spoken openly several times about this season representing a changing of the guard for the decorated north London outfit.

McCall admitted that both Vunipola brothers are likely to leave this summer.

“I don’t want to talk without them having completely finalised their plans,” said McCall.

“It wouldn’t be fair given what they have done for the club, but they are coming towards the end of their time with us.”
