Frank Lampard is confident Mason Mount will be able to shake off a knock picked up during Chelsea's win over Norwich.

Mount made it two goals in two games with an excellent finish in the first-half as the Blues secured their first win of the season at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.

But the Chelsea academy graduate was forced off in the closing stages of the match with a calf problem.

Lampard had already lost Pedro to injury in the warm-up ahead of kick-off but is hopeful Mount's knock is not a serious one.

"Mason took a knock to his calf, so that is better than a strain, obviously,’ said Lampard.

"So hopefully in a couple of days it will settle down, so hopefully that is good news. We will assess it."

Chelsea’s first win of the season moves them up to 12th in the Premier League table ahead of the visit of Sheffield United next Saturday.
