Brazilian football team Chapecoense have returned to training ahead of their first game since November's tragic plane crash.

The aircraft carrying Chapecoense's squad to the Copa Sudamerica final against Atletico Nacional crashed en route to Colombia.

Only six of the 77 people on board survived, including three first-team players.

The club rejected special dispensation to sign players on loan free of charge while rebuilding their squad but are now ready to compete again.

Manager Vagner Mancini has a 30-strong squad to choose from and Chapecoense will face Joinville on January 26 with an almost entirely new team.

Meanwhile, Brazil are set to face Colombia in an intentional friendly on January 25, with all proceeds donated to the victims' families.
