The Premier League has confirmed a host of rearranged fixtures for April as Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City all receive greater clarity in their thrilling three-way title fight.

Domestic cup and European commitments have led to a number of games being moved around in the latter half of the season, with television selections for the latter half of April also now revealed.

Arsenal’s meeting with London rivals Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium - supposed to take place last weekend but postponed due to Chelsea’s FA Cup run - has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 23 with an 8pm kick-off, to be shown live on TNT Sports.

The match now comes just five days before the Gunners make the short trip to Tottenham for the latest north London derby on April 28 and three days after they travel to Wolves, a game which has been moved to a 7:30pm kick-off for broadcasting purposes.

However, it is important to note that derby showdown with Spurs, due to kick-off at 2pm on Sunday April 28, will be moved to a 12:30pm slot on Saturday, April 27 if Mikel Arteta’s side make the Champions League semi-finals, the dates of which are set for 30 April/1 May and 7/8 May.

Leaders Arsenal have eight games in total now during a busy April, with their huge trip to Manchester City on March 31 followed by quick-fire meetings with Luton and Brighton ahead of their massive Champions League quarter-final double-header against Bayern Munich, a two-legged affair that has a tough clash with Aston Villa sandwiched in between.

Jurgen Klopp, meanwhile, is unlikely to be pleased with Liverpool’s altered schedule that leaves them facing three potentially tricky away top-flight matches in just six days at the end of April.

The rescheduled Merseyside derby against Everton at Goodison Park will now take place at 8pm on Sky Sports on the evening of Wednesday, April 24, having originally been slated for March 17 before being postponed as the result of Liverpool’s FA Cup progress.

That comes after a trip to Fulham on Sunday, April 21 that now kicks off at 4:30pm on Sky Sports and is followed hot on the heels by a visit to West Ham that has been slated for a 12:30pm kick-off live on TNT Sports on Saturday, April 27, but will be moved again if Arsenal have a home Champions League fixture on April 30.

For Manchester City, their meeting with Brighton has now been scheduled for an 8pm kick-off on Sky Sports on Thursday, April 25, but will be moved back a day if they get past Real Madrid to reach the Champions League semi-finals and have to play their first leg on April 30.

City’s following trip to Nottingham Forest has also been switched to 4:30pm on Sky Sports on Sunday, April 28, but that fixture will also be brought forward a day with a 5:30pm kick-off if City make the Champions League semis and have to play on April 30.

It is a tough-looking end to April for City, who also have an FA Cup semi-final showdown with Chelsea to contend with at Wembley on April 20.
