Susanna Reid, Charlotte Hawkins and the Good Morning Britain team ditched their usual work attire for something far more glam at this year’s ITV Gala.

The news team pulled out all the stops for the event at the London Palladium, showing up on the red carpet in floor-length gowns.

Presenter Reid wore a bright red sleeveless dress for the showcase, joined Ranvir Singh, Kate Garraway and Laura Tobin.

“@GMB girls ready to hit the #itvgala red carpet! @ranvir01 @susannareid100 @kategarraway @Lauratobin1,” Hawkins wrote on Twitter ahead of the event.

Reid, 45, wrote: “All dressed up & ready for #ITVGala in @PhaseEightPR @DebbieDresses @paulhaskellhair @teriatfear.”

Comedian Jason Mansford acted as host for the annual gala, which showcases ITV’s existing shows as well as upcoming programmes for 2017.

Famous faces from the worlds of acting, comedy and reality television put in an appearance at the event, including Michelle Keegan, Lorraine Kelly and Holly Willoughby.

The remaining X Factor contestants took a night off from rehearsals for the gala, including Matt Terry, Saara Aalto, Emily Middlemas and Five After Midnight.

Controversial rapper Honey G was a notable exception, having also shunned the red carpet at the Pride of Britain Awards.

Gwen Stefani’s ex-husband Gavin Rossdale also made a rare red carpet appearance ahead of his new role on The Voice, which kicks off on ITV at the beginning of 2017.
