The Spice Girls have finally given fans what they want, what they really really want.

The iconic 90s group are reuniting, minus Victoria Beckham, to bring back girl power for a six-date UK tour in June 2019.

Geri Horner, Mel C, Mel B and Emma Bunton broke the news on their newly created social media accounts on Monday, hours after speculation reached fever pitch.

The foursome turned broadcasters as they transformed into their Spice Girl alter egos Baby, Ginger, Sporty and Scary before breaking into an a capella rendition of Spice Up Your Life.

The summer stadium tour will kick off on June 1 at Manchester's Etihad Stadium before heading to Coventry's Ricoh Arena, Sunderland's Stadium of Light, Edinburgh's BT Murrayfield Stadium and Bristol's Ashton Gate Stadium.

They will wrap up at London's Wembley Stadium on June 15, 21 years after they played the iconic venue as part of their Spice World tour.

Mel B said she is "beside myself" and looking forward to being able to "properly scream it from every rooftop". Bunton and Horner both said they are excited to "celebrate girl power with our fans and the next generation".

The Spice Girls last hit the road in 2008 for The Return of the Spice Girls world tour which saw them perform their biggest hits across the US, UK and Europe.

Fans had been waiting since February for anniversary news after the five-piece reunited at Horner’s house and confirmed plans for “exciting possibilities”.
