Spice Girls reunion excitement has hit fever pitch after the band tweeted for the first time on Monday morning.

Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner are set to reunite without Victoria Beckham, 20 years after their debut single Wannabe propelled them to international stardom.

A brand new Twitter page has emerged with a photo of the four of them.

Sharing a photo of what looks like a camera broadcast, they wrote: “Our broadcast continues shortly...#FriendshipNeverEnds.”

And Bunton, also known as Baby Spice, has confirmed that exciting news will be dropping on the new page at 3pm this afternoon.

Speaking to Jamie Theakston on their Heart breakfast show, Bunton said: “I can’t [give anything away]. You’re not going to break me this morning.

“Everything will be announced just after three o’clock today on social media. You can go to @SpiceGirls.

“Please, don’t look at me anymore because I might just blurt it out. I’m so excited. I just want it out there.”

Emma Bunton on the Spice Girls reunion tour

Bunton, Horner, Mel C and Mel B are expected to announce a summer stadium tour via a mock news bulletin.

A source told The Sun: “This is the biggest music comeback of the decade and tickets are expected to sell like hot cakes when they go on sale at the weekend.”

Talk of a tour has been bandied about since the group confirmed their reunion in February at Horner’s house, but the group have remained tight-lipped about plans
