Kelly Brook has revealed that she regrets not having children in her 20s as she fears she may not be able to fall pregnant now that she's in her late 30s.

Brook, 38, said she was always driven to have a career and her own home while becoming a mother took a back seat.

The model, who is dating Jeremy Parisi, said although she has an “amazing” life she feels she is now “up against it” to have children.

Speaking on Loose Women she said: “I think coming from a working class family and seeing my mum and dad struggle it was very much a case of being independent and having my own money and buying my own house was the important thing.

“I spent so much time on my career and making money that having a family was so left behind and now I’m in my late 30s I wish I’d thought of having children earlier because I feel like now I’m up against it. I’ve got all these amazing things but I haven’t got children.”

Brook also opened up about suffering a miscarriage, aged 30, when she was six months pregnant with former fiancé Thom Evans’ baby.

She said: “I hit 30 and I got pregnant and I thought ‘I’m not ready but I know that this is an amazing opportunity’.

“I hadn’t planned to get pregnant but unfortunately I had a miscarriage very late down the line.”

Brook said she doesn’t know if she will be able to carry a child and that she would have made “different choices” in her 20s if she had known how difficult it would be to conceive later in life.
