Seven questioned in burnt man probe

Seven men have been arrested in connection with a man who was found naked and burnt in a road.

Tomasz Morawiak, 24, was found on Barrowby Road in Grantham, Lincolnshire, at about 10.20pm on Saturday.

The Polish national suffered 70-80% burns to his body and remains in a serious condition in the intensive care unit at Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed seven men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

They have all now been bailed pending further inquiries.

Police previously said they are examining CCTV and trying to trace Mr Morawiak's clothes.

The 24-year-old lived in Norton Street, Grantham. Police said his relatives had been informed and his mother was travelling from Poland to be with him.
