Two more teenagers have been charged following the death of celebrity bodyguard Ricky Hayden.
Ricky Hayden, 27, was knifed to death outside his home in Chadwell Heath on September 14 when he allegedly tried to stop a gang of thieves from stealing his moped.
The bodyguard to the stars had worked for ITV’s this morning as well as alongside footballer Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy.
Tarrel Hinds, 19, was charged on Thursday with murder as well as attempted murder in connection with an alleged assault on Mr Hayden’s father, Paul.
Kevin Malamba, also 19, was charged on Thursday with perverting the course of justice.
Both Hinds, of Manford Cross, Chigwell, and Malamba, of Rodney Road, Southwark, were remanded in custody and will appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Another man, Tommy Roome, 19, of Rams Grove, Romford, has already been charged with murder and attempted murder and appeared at the Old Bailey. He denied murdering Mr Hayden.
Roome will appear for trial at the Old Bailey on March 13 next year.
Another 16-year-old teenager, who was arrested in September, was bailed and subsequently released without charge.
