A fourth man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of celebrity bodyguard Ricky Hayden.

The 27-year-old security guard to the stars was stabbed to death outside his home in Chadwell Heath on September 13.

One man, Tommy Roome, 19, has already been charged with Mr Hayden’s murder, and the attempted murder of Mr Hayden’s dad, Paul, who was also injured in the attack.

The father and son were assaulted when they confronted a group of men outside their home on Gibbfield Close.

On Tuesday, police arrested a fourth man on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. The 19-year-old has been released on bail until early December.

Two other teenagers, aged 19 and 16, were also arrested on suspicion of murder shortly after the killing. One has been bailed until mid-November and the other was bailed but then not proceeded with, police said.
