The London Dungeon has hired top YouTube star and self-taught makeup artist Roxxsaurus to create looks inspired by its latest show, Dare You Face Jekyll and Hyde.

The 21-year-old vlogger has created bespoke makeup looks for the show which highlight the transformation between Jekyll and Hyde through scarily realistic split-face makeup.

Members of the public can head to the London Dungeon on April 1 to see the show, and meet Roxxsaurus who will be on hand to give expert makeup tips and tricks.

Makeup experts from the London Dungeon team will also be on hand, to create ‘Hyde’ looks on guests who are brave enough.

Roxxsaurus applies the face makeup

Roxxsaurus, who has over 1.7 million subscribers, shot to YouTube fame after leading the growing trend for creating extreme makeup looks as a form of expression.

The YouTube star said: “I am so excited to be working with the London Dungeon creating looks inspired by their latest show about Jekyll and Hyde.

“I have created alter-ego art that reflects the split personalities of the show’s characters. Since unveiling the looks, I’ve had thousands of requests from makeup fans who want to use brushes and paints to express their inner-selves. Or their 'Hyde' sides.”

Steve Blackburn, general manager at the London Dungeon, said: “We are thrilled that Roxxsaurus has come on board to help launch our new show.

The finished masterpiece

“She has brought a fresh perspective and her unique makeup skills present the story with a modern twist - it really has brought the story to life.”

The new show tells the story of the actor Richard Mansfield, whose depiction of the role was so convincing people thought he was Jack the Ripper.

“Guests will need to keep their wits about them,” added Blackburn.

‘Dare you Face Jekyll and Hyde’ opens on March 31 and runs until May 12, you can find out more information and book tickets here.
