More than half (53 percent) of people in the UK are taking a walk on the wild side when it comes to booking their holidays, according to research out from the Adventure Travel & Sports Show which runs from 14th —16th January 2005.

Increasing stress at work is prompting thousands of Britons to substitute sun, sea and sand for the three As - adrenalin, action and adventure and choosing holidays which are off the beaten track.

In its tenth year, the show will appeal to those looking for a luxury break with a difference as well as those genuine adrenalin junkies looking for their next challenge. As the UK’s premier travel event, there will be over 250 exhibitors, visitors can enjoy over 100 free talks and lectures and hear the experiences of solo explorers, writers, photographers and climbers at the forefront of adventure travel.

Location: London’s Olympia
Date: January 14 to 16, 2005
