Win a pair of tickets to the 'Charlie' World Premier in London!

5 April 2012

We are offering This Is London readers the chance to win one of three pairs of tickets to the London Premiere of Charlie at the Warner West End on February 2nd.

The film stars Luke Goss, Steven Berkoff, Leslie Grantham and Anita Dobson who team up to tell the real life story of ‘Charlie Richardson’, the head of the notorious ‘torture gang’.

The film is set in the sixties at a time when The Beatles ruled the world and young Americans were fighting in Vietnam. For ten weeks the British public were glued to the events at the Old Bailey, where Charlie Richardson was sentenced to 25 years in prison, the case was so significant that even today the files remain sealed...

Set primarily in the 1950’s and early 1960’s, the film follows Charlie’s life and those associated with him. It exposes the truth about life on the wrong side of the law, and examines the emotions of a man branded a monster by those he crossed.

‘Charlie’ is not a gangster movie; it is a movie about a gangster.
