Tony's a turn-off for mistletoe kiss

5 April 2012

Tony Blair is the man we would least like to kiss under the mistletoe, according to a poll published today.

The Prime Minister topped a list of celebrities we would hate to share a seasonal smooch with.

Leslie Grantham - aka EastEnders' Dirty Den - came second thanks to his internet sex antics.

Strictly Come Dancing host Bruce Forsyth was third in the survey by Marks & Spencer.

Rocker Ozzy Osbourne was voted fourth, with Simon Cowell fifth and ginger TV star Chris Evans sixth.

Hugh Grant may be a heart-throb in Bridget Jones but the film smoothie got the thumbs down from real women, who voted him into seventh place.

And while the likes of Nancy Dell'Olio and Ulrika Jonsson have queued up for kisses from Sven Goran Eriksson, the British public can't see the attraction.
Robbie Williams and Billy Connolly made up the rest of the top 10.

The 4,500 women polled were also asked to choose the celebrity they would most like to meet under the mistletoe.

This time Robbie Williams was top of the tree, followed by Hugh Grant and George Clooney.

Peter Pan of Pop Sir Cliff Richard was a surprise fourth, just ahead of Colin Firth and Brad Pitt.

Mel Gibson, Pierce Brosnan, Nigel Harman and Tom Cruise also earned a mention.
