Peter Andre to join EastEnders cast in Queen Vic for Children in Need special

The singer will swap the Strictly ballroom for Albert Square

Peter Andre is set to make a special appearance on EastEnders.

Andre, 42, will join his Strictly Come Dancing co-star Kellie Bright as he sets foot in Albert Square for the Children in Need special.

Speaking about his involvement the singer said: "BBC Children in Need is a charity very close to my heart. I have seen first-hand how money raised makes a difference, so am calling on people across the UK get fundraising to help make this Appeal the best yet.”

Shane Richie will also make an appearance as he reprises his role as Queen Vic landlord Alfie Moon.

Speaking about his return, the actor said: "It is such an honour to be back behind the bar at The Queen Vic once again hosting for Children in Need. We have some wonderful guests lined up this year with some great surprises and it is set to be a very special night."

He will be one of a 30 strong cast who will perform a rendition of Top Hat while Andre will sing Frank Sinatra’s Come Fly With Me.

BBC Children In Need' is on this Friday, November 13 on BBC One from 7.30pm and on BBC Two from 10pm.
