Gordon Ramsay is swapping flour for another white powder in his new TV series.

The celebrity chef will be back on screens as part of ITV's Crime & Punishment season which will feature his two-part series Gordon Ramsay on Cocaine.

According to the press release, Ramsay will “explores the world of cocaine and its links to a global trail of crime and devastation, from Colombian farms to Britain’s streets, including some of London’s most glamorous postcodes.”

The chef is no stranger to the class A drug thanks to his years working in the fast-paced culinary world where it was often present.

"I saw cocaine quite early on in my career,” he said according to Digital Spy. “I've been served it. I've been given it.

"I've had my hand shaken and left with little wraps of foil in it. I've been asked to dust cocaine on top of soufflés, to put it on as icing sugar… coke's everywhere. It's spiralling out of control."

Ramsay added: "With soaring cocaine deaths in Britain and along the coke supply chain, I'm determined to understand the criminal business behind this deadly drug."

Ross Kemp, Susanna Reid, Sir Trevor McDonald and Piers Morgan will also be fronting films during the Crime & Punishment season that look into murders and serial killers

Gordon Ramsay on Cocaine will air on ITV on October 19 at 9pm.
