Wise swoops to solve striker crisis

Leeds have signed Wayne Andrews and Mark De Vries after the club were left facing a striker crisis.

Dennis Wise was forced into action after Tresor Kandol and Jermaine Beckford were both sent off at the weekend.

Kandol and Beckford, who have scored 11 goals between them, will miss tonight's game at Oldham after being handed one-match suspensions.

Youngster Tomi Ameobi was Wise's only available marksman but Andrews and De Vries are now likely to face the Latics. The pair have agreed one-month loan deals from Coventry and Leicester respectively.
