Wise needs new blood at Millwall

14 April 2012

Millwall manager Dennis Wise said he will need new players to have any chance of a Coca-Cola Championship play-off place.

Wise, whose side were booed off after a goalless draw at Gillingham that leaves them ninth, said: "I have been trying to get in three players over the last few weeks but I have been told that we can't have them.

"If you are looking to get promotion or into the top six, you have to have a go.

"The fans are clearly frustrated, I didn't think their booing was fair, but you have to get on with it."
