Wigan close to Koumas deal

Wigan are on the brink of a £5million deal for West Bromwich midfielder Jason Koumas.
Albion had rejected a £4m bid from Wigan and also turned down bids from Birmingham City and Fulham for the 27-year-old Wales international.

Wigan will also look to complete a £2m deal for Fulham's Michael Brown this weekend. Fulham are closing on Blackburn striker Jason Roberts, with a £3.5m offer on the table.
