Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal will learn from their mistakes and mount a serious challenge for the Premier League.

The Gunners led the table in February but then suffered a major dip in form and were never back in the title race.

Arsenal's boss, whose side take on West Brom at Emirates Stadium tomorrow, says his players are now more experienced to rival Manchester United and Chelsea.

Wenger said: "We did not lose the championship by a big margin and feel we can be stronger than last year.

"We were frustrated we did not win last season, but we can turn that frustration into a winning attitude.

"We lost as a unit because we didn't have the experience of winning the championship. Hopefully we have learnt from that.

"Are we ready to kill someone to win a game? No, because you have to respect the rules in football."

Wenger is expected to recall Kolo Toure to his squad.

The defender has been suffering from malaria and then a thigh strain while Samir Nasri, 21, could make his debut.
