Watford to look at pay structure

Watford will look at the possibility of ending the voluntary 12 per cent players' pay cut following their lucrative FA Cup third round tie with Chelsea.

The cash-strapped First Division club are looking to make around ?700,000 from the two games, with most of that money going towards the ?6million needed to buy back Vicarage Road.

Some Watford players are still having their salaries reduced by 12 per cent and it is understood that the club will look at the situation in the near future.

Meanwhile, manager Ray Lewington said that striker Heidar Helguson's chances of being fit for tonight's replay at Stamford Bridge was "less than 50-50".

Bruce Dyer will replace Helguson if he is ruled out while Neil Cox, who was suspended for the first match, will be back in for Sean Dyche.
