Warne stars with bat

Shane Warne led from the front as his Hampshire side battled to avoid defeat at the Rose Bowl today.

Gloucestershire seamer Jon Lewis claimed his sixth wicket of the match when he dismissed Zimbabwean Sean but skipper Warne staged a couter-attack and remained unbeaten on 61 as the home side stretched their lead to 184.

Warwickshire were in complete control against Glamorgan at Edgbaston, where Dougie Brown made 122, with champions leading by more than 300.
