Warne not returning to Hampshire

Hampshire have confirmed that Shane Warne will not be returning to play for the county in the forthcoming domestic campaign.

Rose Bowl plc chairman Rod Bransgrove admitted that Warne's increasing business interests and family life would impact on his availability for the county.

Bransgrove explained the decision to end their association with the 38-year-old Australian has been "mutual" and that it had been made amicably and with great sadness on both sides.
