Victory tonic for Holloway

Ian Holloway is struggling to recover from the stomach illness that forced him to spend two nights in hospital last week.

The Queens Park Rangers manager missed his team's 1-0 win over Cardiff, courtesy of a Dan Shittu goal, and the club do not know when he will be well enough to return to work.

Assistant coach Tim Breacker said: "Ollie is still very ill. He needs time to fully recover and at the weekend was having trouble getting up and down the stairs. He's a great guy and we wanted to win for him."
