Tyson to fight in Britain

Mike Tyson is set to fight in a British boxing ring for the first time in nearly five years.

Tyson, who was was beaten by London heavyweight Danny Williams in Louisville four months ago, is being lined up for a European tour. It would involve bouts in England and in Dublin, where he would be matched with Irish giant Kevin McBride.

Freddie Roach, Tyson's trainer, wants the 38-year-old American to have a series of comeback fights before making another challenge on a world title.

The former undisputed champion marked his debut in a British ring with a second-round stoppage of Julius Francis in January 2000. Five months later he returned to beat Lou Savarese inside one round in Glasgow.
