Triumph stuns drained Dwain

Dwain Chambers won the 100 metres at the Goodwill Games in a race he admitted he "really wasn't feeling up for".

The British sprinter claimed he was suffering from jet-lag, having arrived in Brisbane only a few days ago.

But it did not show as he powered out of the blocks to win in 10.11 seconds ahead of world silver medallist Tim Montgomery (10.27secs) and Australia's Matt Shirvington (10.30secs).

"I never expected that, I just wanted to finish in the top three," said Chambers, who was fifth in this year's World Championships.

Meanwhile, Kelly Holmes won a silver medal in the 800m
