Tottenham XI vs Newcastle: Confirmed team news, starting lineup, latest injuries for tonight

1/27

Serge Aurier starts for Tottenham at Newcastle United following the tragic murder of his brother on Monday.

Jose Mourinho confirmed that Japhet Tanganga was ready to start if necessary after recovering from a stress fracture to his back and he would face a significant challenge against Newcastle United star man Allan Saint-Maximin.

Mourinho used a 4-4-2 system against the Gunners and Spurs found themselves far more able to play football without an isolated Harry Kane.

He could stick with the system against Newcastle's back five. Dele Alli and Tanguy Ndombele are out due to injury, while Eric Dier will serve the third match of his four-game ban and Juan Foyth is still sidelined.
