Tom Huddlestone in England fitness race after having knee surgery

13 April 2012

Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone will undergo surgery on his left knee and faces an anxious wait to see if he will be fit for England Under-21s' European Championship campaign this summer.

"The operation will rule the midfielder out of our final fixture of the season at Liverpool on Sunday," read a statement from the club.
