The 11 Englishmen competing in this year’s Masters

Danny Willett last year became only the second English golfer in the history of the Masters to claim the coveted Green Jacket, and the first in 20 years.

Not since Nick Faldo in 1996, with a final score of 12 under par, had the feet been achieved – and Willett’s score of five under par to trump Jordon Spieth in the tie-break was certainly a tighter affair.

This year, there are 11 Englishmen looking to come out on top in Augusta.

"There is more pressure as a major champion,” said Willett on Tuesday. “You've achieved the greatest height in your game. You have got to the pinnacle.
