The first World Cup ticket picture

This is what 6,000 England fans are anxiously waiting for - a ticket to the World Cup in Korea and Japan.

Yesterday, Standard Sport revealed how FIFA's World Cup ticket agency is falling behind in the race to distribute three million tickets around the globe in time for the kick-off in Seoul in 21 days time.

The FA believe many fans will have to pick their tickets up in Japan.

Organisers moved quickly today to ease supporters' concerns by saying they will get their tickets next week and gave Standard Sport the first picture to be published anywhere in the world of the sought-after commodity.
