Terry's all goals as Blues roll on

As if John Terry wasn't receiving enough plaudits as Chelsea's captain and on-field inspiration, the club's longest-serving current player has chalked up another accolade,

The 23-year-old's dramatic winner against Barcelona makes him Chelsea's top goalscorer in this season's Champions League with four.

His effort on Tuesday followed goals against Paris Saint-Germain, Porto and CSKA Moscow.

Terry's transformation from teenage tearaway to a defender of genuine international stature is already the stuff of fairytales, but even hewould struggle to believe the company he is keeping at the top of the Champions League goalscoring charts.

Ruud van Nistelrooy leads the way with eight goals and Thierry Henry's strike against Bayern Munich last night was his fifth, but alongside Terry on four are strikers of the calibre of Adriano, Ronaldinho and Raul.

If his all-action defending isn't enough to win Terry the player-of-the-year award, then his collection of goals just might.
