Nick Kyrgios is ready to take his feud with Rafa Nadal live after calling on the Spaniard to join him in an Instagram Live together.

The pair have endured a frosty relationship on and off court, with Kyrgios accusing Nadal of being a bad loser and being “super salty” while Nadal has been critical of the Australian’s antics and failure, at times, to live up to his talent.

After BBC Sport asked for the FaceTimes they’d most like to see, Kyrgios wrote: “Rafa let’s do Instagram live together. I am down with it. Rafael Nadal let’s do it.”

Nadal had previously accused Kyrgios of “lacking respect for the public, for his rival and for himself,” with his on-court behaviour.

Meanwhile, Kyrgios said: “When he wins, it’s fine, he will credit the opponent but, as soon as I beat him, he has no respect for me, my fans or the game.”
