Ten-man Rovers through to semis

12 April 2012

Ten-man Blackburn clinched a place in FA Cup semi-finals with a 2-0 victory and heaped more misery on Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce.

Pearce was hoping that a change of competition would bring a change of luck to his struggling side but they suffered their fifth straight defeat.

Aaron Mokoena steered Blackburn into the semi-finals with his first goal for the club before being sent off, while Matt Derbyshire added a second.
