Taylor prepares Under-21 squad

England Under-21 boss Peter Taylor got down to work in earnest with his squad this morning ahead of tomorrow's friendly with Ukraine.

The coach welcomed the final four members of the party to training at England's Redworth Hall Hotel base near Darlington after their involvement in yesterday's league games.

Arsenal's Jermaine Pennant played almost half an hour as a replacement in the win at Everton, while club-mate Justin Hoyte was an unused substitute.

West Ham's Anton Ferdinand and Nigel Reo-Coker both played full games in the Wigan loss.
