Swann ruled out

12 April 2012

England off-spinner Graeme Swann has been ruled out of Saturday's fifth one-day international against Sri Lanka because of a torn hamstring.

The Nottinghamshire bowler is expected to be sidelined for two weeks but England believe he should be available for the Test series, which begins on November 20.

The 28-year-old has been one of the stars of England's historic one-day series victory - their first in Sri Lanka - taking seven wickets in four matches at an average of 22.28.
