Sven issues hands off warning to Liverpool over keeper

Manchester City will offer England Under-21 keeper Joe Hart a new four-year deal worth £15,000 a week later this month to ward off interest from Liverpool.

Boss Sven Goran Eriksson sanctioned new terms for the 20-year-old who is his first-choice keeper.

The deal is set to triple his wages, despite the fact he has two years of his current deal still to run, according to a report in the News Of The World.

Liverpool scouts have been watching the former Shrewsbury stopper who seems certain to challenge for England honours soon.
