Spurs youngster Assou-Ekotto set for loan spell in France

Benoit Assou-Ekotto is likely to return to France on loan before the start of the new campaign.

The left-back played the second half of Wednesday's win at Leyton Orient, but is third-choice in his position behind Gareth Bale and Gilberto.
