Spurs to sign Giovani

Tottenham will sign Barcelona star Giovani Dos Santos for £12million in the next few days.

Mexican international Giovani is close to agreeing terms, despite late offers from Inter Milan and Manchester City. Giovani who can also play as a winger or striker, won the 2005 Under-17 World Cup and has been tipped to have a bright future in the game.

He made his Barcelona debut last September and scored four goals last season - including a hat-trick in his last game.

Meanwhile, Spurs boss Juande Ramos could follow up Giovani's transfer with the capture of Manchester City defender Richard Dunne.
