Solskjaer in swansong at Old Trafford

13 April 2012

Former Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have a testimonial against Espanyol at Old Trafford.

United will use the 2 August clash against the La Liga side as part of their pre-season preparations. Solskjaer retired in August last year due to injury problems and is now on the club's coaching staff.

The 35-year-old, who scored the winner in the 1999 Champions League Final, said: "I am delighted to be given this game. It will be a very emotional for me to play one last time at Old Trafford in front of our fans."
