Scots manage to stay in touch

Scotland continued to fly the flag for the home nations in the second round of the World Cup in Japan today.

But it was New Zealand's Michael Campbell and David Smail who led the way after a 66 in the foursomes gave them a total of 129 at Taiheiyo.

Scotland's Dean Robertson and Andrew Coltart finished on 11 under par, sharing second place with Japan but four shots behind New Zealand.

Meanwhile, defending champion Robert Allenby shot a 69 in the second round of the Australian PGA Championship to retain a one-stroke lead.
