Luiz Felipe Scolari has called on Fabio Capello to name John Terry as England captain.

The Chelsea defender is the main candidate along with Rio Ferdinand to be appointed as skipper for the World Cup qualifiers starting on September 6 against Andorra.

He added: "Terry is a proper captain.

"He is a man that when you say something to him he will help you achieve it."
