Santini reveals French row

New Tottenham coach Jacques Santini has revealed that Thierry Henry and Robert Pires had a bust-up two days before France's Euro 2004 clash with England.

Santini, who was in charge of France during their disappointing campaign, said the Arsenal team-mates came to blows during a "highly charged" training session.

Asked on French television station TF1 who the two players were who had a fight with each other, Santini left no doubt as to their identity.

He said: "You know well enough, the two players came from the same club."
