Sale sign Pesaminio
Sale have announced another summer signing after securing the services of Auckland winger Mikaele Pesamino.
The Samoa flyer has been one of the sensations of the IRB World Sevens Series, scoring 56 tries during the 2009-10 campaign as the pacific islanders won the title, and his capture follows hot on the heels of the signing of Bourgoin prop Karena Wihongi.
Pesamino's Sevens appearances have limited his 15-a-side action with Auckland, and he has now opted to make the switch to the Guinness Premiership.
Head coach Mike Brewer said: "This is a massive signing for the club. Mikaele is incredibly quick and has wanted to play in the Premiership.
"He had the choice of joining other clubs in the UK but he has chosen Sale Sharks and I am sure our supporters will be very impressed with him."
