Wales face Fiji at the Millennium Stadium on Thursday evening aiming to secure the victory that would see Warren Gatland's side put one foot into the quarter-finals.

After their 28-25 win against England, Wales will be in touching distance of the knock-out stages if they can claim their third successive victory in front of a home crowd.

Coach Warren Gatland has lost several key figures to injury - including Leigh Halfpenny, Jonathan Davies and Rhys Webb - and the New Zealander is eager for the Cardiff faithful to help ensure that fatigue from the battle at Twickenham five days ago does not creep into his ranks.

Fiji's 38-34 victory over the Welsh at the 2007 World Cup should serve as a reminder that they are not only in Cardiff to make up the numbers.

England fans will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on proceedings as today's result will have a huge bearing on how Pool A will pan out ahead of Stuart Lancaster's side's showdown with Australia on Saturday.
