Johnson set to hold the fort for Scotland

Scotland could be under an interim coach for their Six Nations opener with England on February 2.

Andy Robinson quit as coach last week and his assistant Scott Johnson is the favourite to lead the team during the Championship.

SRU chief executive Mark Dodson said: “Given the timescales involved, we are looking at the possibility of an interim appointment as we don’t want to rush into a decision.”
