Australia captain Ben Mowen admitted England deserved to win today's QBE International at Twickenham.

"You've got to give it to the English" Mowen told Sky Sports 2. "They scrambled really well and had more urgency."

Mowen admitted the 20-13 defeat was "another learning process for us". The Wallabies had led 13-6 at the end of the first half.

England captain Chris Robshaw - who pounced for his first international try in the second half - said he was "very happy" with his score.

He admitted his team "lost momentum" in a disappointing first half, but added: "I'm very proud of all the guys."
