Beast won't hold back at Twickenham

Twickenham vow: Tendai Mtawarira
10 April 2012

Sharks prop Tendai 'Beast' Mtawarira has no intention of turning the Super 15 clash with the Crusaders at Twickenham into merely a charity match.

The Crusaders have been forced into a nomadic existence following last month's earthquake in Christchurch and organisers of Sunday's game hope to raise a substantial sum for the disaster appeal.

However, with Crusaders second in the table and the Durban-based Sharks fourth, no quarter will be given on the pitch.

Springbok Mtawarira said: "What happened in Christchurch has put everything into perspective and that is the cause we are all playing for on Sunday. However, it is also a very important Super 15 fixture that both teams are determined to win.

"The Sharks are getting better every week and we face a very good Crusaders team including All Blacks stars like Dan Carter. Hopefully, lots of South Africans living in the South East of England will be able to turn up for this match."

Mtawarira is supporting the Investec Super Rugby match at Twickenham on Sunday (4pm). Tickets can be bought online via ticketmaster.co.uk, rfu.com/tickets or by telephone 0844 847 2492. £5 from each ticket will go to the Christchurch Earthquake appeal.
