Rubens extends Ferrari contract

14 April 2012

Rubens Barrichello has signed a two-year extension to his contract with Ferrari, ensuring his partnership with Michael Schumacher will continue until the end of 2006.

Barrichello, fourth in last year's drivers' championship, said: "I'm very proud. The new deal is not just about security. I have done this at the right moment in my career. It is another step forward."
